As I go through my life day to day I realize how I'm truly blessed. I take so many things forgranted. Tonight we were at the dinner table playing a game of old maid. As I looked around the table and saw the kids laughing at my dad because he was the old maid I thought to myself I am so blessed that I can share in this moment of laughter and have wonderful brothers and sisters. When eating dinner tonight did you even think about it because I didn't until now. I now think about all the starving kids around the world and how much they would love to have the food we so often waste. My siblings are so sweet and are a living example of those who have been in situations without enough food or other things we so often take forgranted including parents. God has allowed them to come into our lives  possibly to remind us that we need not take anything forgranted. so as you go through your week I challenge you to think about what you do and not take anything forgranted.

The last time I posted something I was facing a very tough decision. I have decided that I am being called  to go to Africa this summer. I prayed about it and different things came up in my life that led me to make this decision. Thank you for praying for me. Around this time of year things are  hectic with basketball, christmas, Elizabeth's birthday and my birthday. I'm constantly having to remind myself to make Christ the center of my life. There are some days when I'm so caught up in myself I can't give God credit even though he is the one who gave me the abilities to do different things. I need prayer for my pride. I need not be so self absorbed that I can't accept others accomplishments.

Recently I have been faced with a very tough decision. I have the choice of four different places to go this summer. I have been praying for several weeks now. The opportunities are going to China with Trinity Presbyterian Church, going to China with a group of people sponsored by Stephen Curtis Chapman's foundation Shohanna's Hope, going to Africa with my aunt, and or going to Ecuador with my church. Through my prayers and encouragement from some good friends I have narrowed it down to two. These two are Africa with my aunt or the group to China sponsored by Shohanna's Hope. I will continue praying about this but I also need others praying for God to show me where I can better spread his name and glorify him. Thank you for your prayers.
